Established in Jakarta under the name of “PT Gema Gerhana Sarana”.

Established its first factory at Lippo Cikarang Industrial Estate, producing chairs and furniture.

Adopted a new name, “PT Gema Grahasarana” and expanded its production facility in Cikarang.

GGS received ISO 9001:1994 Quality Assurance Certificate from SGS International through improving the company’s professionalism and standard of handling its business.

GGS’  factory in PasarKemis, Tangerang commenced its first operation.

Took the strategic step of an Initial Public Offering in Indonesia Stock Exchange, transforming GGS into a public-listed company that is more transparent, professional and provides more beneficial rights to its shareholders.

In January, GGS acquired PT Vivere Multi Kreasi (VMK) as a subsidiary company, then relaunched its core business structure under a new brand identity by establishing VIVERE Group. Today, VIVERE Group encapsulates the entire company portfolio under one brand.

In February, VIVERE Group moved the head office into a new building located in West Jakarta.

GGS celebrated its 25th anniversary by announcing a scholarship program called “VIVERE for Education”. This full scholarship is a long term funding support for high achievers among Indonesian students from less privileged backgrounds to enter universities.

GGS upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 certifications and obtained OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications as a proof of our commitment towards safety, health and environment within the workplace.

Received an international acknowledgement from Forbes magazine as an “A-list Top 40 Emerging Company in Indonesia”.

Later in October GGS held a kick-off ceremony on SAP Implementation Project called “VIRAGO” (VIVERE Rapid Growth). It was our commitment for enhancing our future through a reformed and integrated database system, utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other SAP application within.

In our 30 years of amazing journey, GGS aim to build a world class organization within the interior and furniture industry. GGS will focus in delivering more innovative products and services to the market and looking to build more design into reality.

One of our subsidiaries, PT Laminatech Kreasi Sarana (LKS) acquired PT Aida Rattan Industry from Cirebon; its line of business is to produce high-quality rattan furniture by using local source of material combined with German design and technology.

GGS upgraded the ISO certification to ISO 9001: 2015 at its 33rd anniversary, and also launching VIVERE Learning Center in the same year.
