The delegation from Commission VII of the DPR RI was welcomed by the President Director of PT Gema Graha Sarana, Mr. William Simiadi, along with the management team, and also involved representatives from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. The visit aimed to obtain a direct overview of the manufacturing industry's readiness in facing global market dynamics and to strengthen its contribution to the national economy.

During the series of visits, Commission VII of the DPR RI reviewed the production process, the application of manufacturing technology, international-standard quality control systems, sustainability practices, and supply chain integration that supports both domestic and export market needs. Additionally, the group had the opportunity to visit the furniture showroom also located in the SOUTH 78 Building to see national manufactured furniture products that have met global standards.

President Director of PT Gema Graha Sarana, Mr. William Simiadi, in his remarks stated that the furniture industry plays a strategic role in the national economy through job creation and increasing the added value of natural resources. However, the national industry faces increasingly fierce global competition challenges, particularly in terms of production efficiency and technology adoption.

VIVERE Group emphasized the importance of policy support to simplify licensing and encourage investment, including accelerating technological transformation and industrial automation so that Indonesia's competitiveness can increase. Furthermore, the consistent implementation of Local Content Requirements (TKDN) and the strengthening of domestic supply chains are also considered essential to create a healthy and sustainable industrial ecosystem.

Commission VII of the DPR RI welcomed the input from industry players as part of their oversight function and the formulation of strategic policies in the industrial, energy, research, and technology sectors. This dialogue is expected to become the foundation for concrete steps in strengthening the national manufacturing industry.

VIVERE Group positively welcomed this visit as a strategic momentum to tighten the synergy between the government and industry players. With targeted policy support and sustainable collaboration, the national furniture industry is expected to grow more competitive, globally viable, and become one of the important pillars in realizing the Indonesia Emas 2045 vision.
